BNP Paribas’s Securities Services business announces the appointment of Franck Delbes as Chief Executive Officer of Manaos, a next-generation investment services platform connecting institutional clients to ESG data and analytics providers efficiently and securely.
At Manaos, Franck will spearhead the continued development of ESG and fund data services for institutional investors. Now in its second year, Manaos’ ambition is to become a market leader in investment data services. The platform helps investors collect fund inventories from their asset managers for full look-through analysis of their portfolios. It also provides clients with easy access to ESG data and analytics providers to help them calculate the overall ESG performance of their portfolios and access cross-provider ESG information on underlying funds.
Franck has 25 years’ experience in the investment industry and was most recently Global Head of Operations at multi-manager investment firm Architas. He succeeds Philippe Ruault, interim CEO.
Philippe Benoît, Head of Strategic Business Development & Transformation, Securities Services, at BNP Paribas, said: “Franck’s expertise will enable us to develop new services that help investors navigate the growing complexity of data management and analytics. Our ambition is for Manaos to become a market leader in investment data collection and collaboration, giving our institutional investor clients seamless access to value-added analytics such as ESG.”
Franck Delbes, CEO of Manaos, added: “Access to accurate and reliable ESG data is a key challenge for institutional investors in the current fragmented landscape and is critical to meet upcoming regulatory deadlines. I have long admired Manaos for its collaborative technology and look forward to helping our clients address the critical issues of ESG investment data availability and quality.”
