Leading global custodian[1] BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business has appointed Benoit Uhlen as the new Head of Market & Financing Services for the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), with immediate effect.
In his new role, Benoit will be responsible for further strengthening Securities Services’ Market and Financing Services offering in APAC, including securities lending, foreign exchange services, triparty collateral management and financing. He will contribute to Securities Services’ growth ambitions in APAC by harnessing the bank’s integrated bank model and client-oriented approach to technology. He will be based in Hong Kong.
Having worked for Securities Services at BNP Paribas for more than 25 years, Benoit has extensive knowledge of the business and a thorough understanding of its clients’ needs. He has held key positions, including Head of Equity Finance Trading in Paris, Global Head of Business Development & Solutions, and Global Head of Relationship Management for Securities Lending, Repo, Forex and Passive Currency Overlay activities.
