We are pleased to announce that BNP Paribas Securities Services has been awarded the Specialised Lending Initiative award for the second time at the Central Banking Awards 2022.

The Central Banking Awards recognise the outstanding performance and achievements of individuals and organisations within the central banking community.

According to Central Banking, “Over the last year, BNP Paribas Securities Services has taken a key step to improve its technology platform. This allows it to carry out operations faster, limit errors and customise services to adapt to the specific needs of individual central bank clients in both securities lending and collateral management. Additionally, the French bank has sustained returns and asset-utilisation levels in an environment of widespread central bank asset purchases for monetary policy purposes.”

The award also anonymously features clients of the bank:

“They offer a great performance in terms of the volume of assets they lend and the returns they can reap in the current market environment” – Official in a reserve department at a European central bank

Andrew Geggus, Global Head of Agency Lending at BNP Paribas Securities Services, commented:

“We are delighted to have been recognised as the winner of Central Banking’s Specialised Lending Initiative Award. Putting our clients first is the approach we have always taken at BNP Paribas Securities Services and we are extremely proud of the relationship we have built with our Central Bank clients.
