BNP Paribas Securities Services announces the following senior appointments in its global financial intermediaries (FI) sales and relationship management organisation.
Americas
Martin Loesser Baker is appointed Head of FI Sales and Relationship Management for the Americas region. Martin recently joined BNP Paribas from Deutsche Bank, where he spent 17 years in a number of senior positions in London and New York and was responsible for managing relationships with Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking strategic clients. A senior securities services industry leader, Martin has also held senior positions at J.P. Morgan and Brown Brothers Harriman.
Continental Europe
James Woods is appointed Head of FI Sales and Relationship Management for Continental Europe, responsible for driving new sales and strategic opportunities with FI clients in the region. James has held a number of leadership positions at BNP Paribas Securities Services over the past 18 years including Head of Growth Markets and Head of FI Coverage for Italy, devising sales strategy for the bank’s key strategic clients.
UK
Simon Walker is appointed Head of UK FI Relationship Management. Simon joined BNP Paribas Securities Services in 2007 and has held a number of senior positions within the bank, most recently as Head of Strategic Account Management. Simon has more than 30 years’ experience in the securities services industry, having worked in the custody divisions of major financial institutions.
Phil Parmley is appointed Head of UK FI Sales. Phil is a post-trade sales specialist with long-standing experience in identifying, developing and managing complex sales to the financial services market. Phil joined BNP Paribas in 2008 from Euroclear, where he was a senior product manager.
All positions report globally to Graham Ray, Global Head of Sales and Relationship Management at BNP Paribas Securities Services, who joined the bank in September 2018.
