BNP Paribas’ Securities Services has appointed Laure Ly as Head of Hong Kong, effective 2 October.
In this role, Laure will continue to build on the success of the bank’s Securities Services business in Hong Kong SAR and deepen relationships with new and existing clients. Laure succeeds Julien Kasparian, who has been appointed as Regional Head UK & Middle East for Securities Services, subject to regulatory approvals.
Laure started her career with the Securities Services business of BNP Paribas in 2004. After spending a decade at Securities Services’ head office in Paris, where she held various roles within Operations Management and Client Relationship Management, Laure joined Securities Services in Hong Kong in 2014. She was most recently Head of Client Development for Greater China, where she oversaw client engagement activities for the Greater China region across all client segments.
Based in Hong Kong, Laure will report regionally to Franck Dubois, Head of Asia Pacific for Securities Services, and locally to Hugo Leung, Chief Executive Officer, BNP Paribas Hong Kong.
