BNP Paribas’s Securities Services business, a leading global custodian with USD 13.0 trillion under custody[1], today announces the appointment of Pauline Bernard as Regional Head of France & Belgium, effective 1 June.
In her new position, Pauline will be responsible for further strengthening Securities Services’ leading position in France and Belgium. She will lead the Securities Services business line in the region and drive its contribution to BNP Paribas’s diversified and integrated bank model as part of the Group 2025 strategic plan — called GTS for Growth, Technology and Sustainability. Pauline succeeds to Pierre Jond, following his decision to pursue new opportunities outside the Bank.
Over the years, Pauline played an increasingly strategic role within Securities Services’ Client Development Department. In 2021, she was appointed as Head of Sales for Institutional Investors for Continental Europe in addition to her role as Head of Client Development for France and Belgium.
Based in France, Pauline Bernard will report to Alessandro Gioffreda, Global Head of Territory Management for Securities Services.
