BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business extends its general meetings solutions to global custody clients, supported by Proxymity

BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business, a leading global custodian with USD 17.5 trillion in assets under custody[1], today announces the implementation of Proxymity’s Vote Connect Global solution as part of its general meetings services for global custody clients across EMEA and Asia Pacific, directly connecting issuers, intermediaries and investors through a near real-time, transparent and efficient digital ecosystem.

Partnering with Proxymity, a leading digital investor communications platform, Securities Services at BNP Paribas first introduced Proxymity’s Vote Connect solution to its local custody clients in the UK, Australia and New Zealand in September 2025. The solution is now extended to global custody clients across EMEA and Asia Pacific, streamlining investor communications and improving overall corporate governance.

Building on its connectivity to more than 90 markets worldwide, Securities Services now enables global custody clients to manage general meetings through a single platform. Through this new feature, they can receive immediate announcements of meetings, transmit their voting instructions, and receive post-meeting confirmations that their votes were counted. BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business manages all clients’ enquiries and activities, while coordinating operational flows with Proxymity.

Proxymity’s technology is also fully integrated into Securities Services’ ecosystem and its NeoLink client platform, complementing the bank’s wider general meetings services, in-house expertise, and client support. In addition, the expanded solution will advance BNP Paribas’ integrated service, including improved features for power of attorney management.

Dean Little, CEO and Co-Founder, Proxymity, said: “We’re proud to extend our partnership with BNP Paribas’ Securities Services through the implementation of Vote Connect Global. This reflects our shared commitment to a common goal: delivering real, measurable improvements for investors navigating a complex, global proxy voting landscape.”

Christian Houillon, Head of Custody Products and Solutions, Securities Services, BNP Paribas, commented: “As a forward-looking asset servicer, we are committed to helping our clients navigate the fast-evolving digital environment. Fostering strategic partnerships with industry pioneers like Proxymity is a way of anticipating and building tomorrow’s standards while granting our clients seamless access to them.

“To help more companies achieve real-time digital proxy voting, we are bringing this solution to our global custody clients. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Proxymity and delivering the best services leveraging on its technology capabilities.”
